What can be done to increase chances of success?

I was wondering what success is all about…Basically success is nothing but what one has achieved. If we go by literal meaning then it is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.

Success can also mean reaching a goal or completing an objective…. it is a Colloquial term used to describe a person that has achieved his or her financial, personal or career goals. facebook-advt-ssc1

Success can mean differently to different people feeling that tingle of excitement about what you do and sticking with what is important through hard times.

Preparing  and Taking exams for students can be quite stressful. Students or aspirants can feel the intense pressure on them and then they have difficulty producing work that reflects their abilities and knowledge. Nowadays there is counseling sessions available so you have plenty of support available and by simply talking about the situation can make the whole process more comfortable.

Below are six top tips for sure shot success in examination:-

  • Create three zones in your house

You must have a Relaxation zone; a Study zone and a Sleep zone. Try and keep these areas very distinct and ensure the sleep and study spaces are uncluttered and calm.

  • You must have a Revision time table

Schedule time to Relax, study and sleep. Break down revision slots into manageable chunks so that you can easily revise the syllabus in time as this will avoid any sort of panicky situation.

  • Your ‘to do list’ must be properly maintained and should be in front of you only all the time

Research has proven that one must study only a maximum of 7 topics per day. Stay calm and focused and try not to carry items over to the next day to finish.

  • Must Take regular breaks

For every three hours spent on studying, you should take an interval of about twenty minutes. These short breaks help you to unwind, relax and talk to friends, roam around in the house have a short meal and drink a healthy juice. It’s also very much significant to take an extended break of around three to four hours each day to actually ‘switch off’ from studying and get back to life. If you feel panicky or worried, try meditation or thinking positively and practicing breathing techniques of yoga (calmness and relation techniques)- hopefully you will be more happy, relaxed and able to concentrate when you start studying again.

  • Exercise and Diet

Having healthy food and drinking water at proper and regular intervals throughout the day will maintain hydration levels and your energy and improves concentration. Avoid too much tea, coffee, or ‘energy’ drinks loaded with caffeine, as it can make you feel agitated and can stop you sleeping. This alters your focus. Exercising and doing yoga regularly will also release adrenalin in your body which can help to clear your mind, soul and reduce stress.

  • Sleep

I know it’s very difficult but try to maintain a regular sleep pattern. Your target should be at least six hours of sleep every night and try to fix in one hour of entertainment before you go to bed.

Career in hospitality

Lot of how’s come to our mind when we think about admissions to various courses after completing XII standard. Lots and lots of counseling’s we take but still we are not sure what to do, where to start and how to accomplish. I think one should start from the research about the courses and then should give a career selector test to know better the interests and the likeability of the course. One such course I have picked today for discussion is Hotel and Hospitality management.  There are a lot of interesting aspects to hotel jobs. Low educational barriers i.e the level of entrance is not very hard, mobility & flexibility is there within the hotel’s departments and unusual hours and shifts can all be beneficial. But there is a lot of competition for hotel management entrance preparation and thus students seek guidance in form of hotel management entrance coaching. Here are few of the reasons why a career in hospitality is great!facebook-advt-ssc1

  1. You make people’s day

Whether you’re working as restraint manager or you are at front desk, or even if you’re involved in the management of an event at your hotel, every time you start your day you’re making someone’s day a little bit better. This business is all about people and public dealing is the prime focus and thus it’s about making people happy.

  1. It’s creative

Hospitality is creative being a people-oriented industry. You are creating a product and a service as well and leaving a mark in the minds of people by your skill — be that food, drink, or an experience — and there’s always scope to come up with new & innovative ways of making it more enjoyable for everyone.

  1. It opens lot of opportunities to the world

Every country in the world has its own hospitality industry, and the skills and knowledge you learn here are readily transferable, so this means that a career in hospitality sector can be the key to discovering new locations, new people and new culture. If you’re planning or wish to work abroad then this is the sector which will fulfill all your dreams.

  1. Don’t get stuck

You don’t have to be stuck in one particular field. There is so much of scope within the hospitality industry that there’s never any need for you to get stuck in one niche. You could very easily stay with the same employer and in the space of a few years, move between receptionist jobs, reservations manager to conciergeand beyond. Where else could you get that sort of variety?
