Do you teach a noble profession?

“A teacher is never an ordinary person. Construction and destruction can occur on your knees. The quote given by Chanakya shows the power of teachers and teaching. Education is a very important activity on the basis of any nation and culture is established. So, let’s see what is teaching.facebook-advt-ssc1The word “education” means the work of a teacher to provide knowledge and guidance. He is one of the oldest and noblest of society in all the services of culture. But the question arises whether teaching is a profession or a primary duty. According to the Oxford Dictionary, the word “profession” means “professional activity” and “duty” means “moral responsibility”. It is therefore preferable to call a teaching profession of service. Consider this noble profession is a duty and discuss its importance then. Education not only shows the right path that students must follow, but also prepares human resources for the future development of the nation. It has the potential to have a major impact on molding the next generation. This is why education needs to be evaluated by social institutions such as government, church, family and civil society. So the lesson is:

  • Process for the transmission of knowledge and information
  • A process of change
  • Process for instructing and guiding others

Education is the noblest of all professions, as all professionals trained with a teacher. It is also a process of preparing the next generation of skilled workers and professionals and politicians, engineers, doctors, police officers, priests, educators, legislators and good citizens. Education is therefore seen as a way that God uses the teacher as an instrument to touch life.

Kalam sir in his autobiography “Wings of Fire” pays tribute to his teachers. He is grateful for the education he has obtained from his teachers at primary level. He was inspired to study further and become a scientist because of the care and guidance of his science teacher Shivasubramaniyam Iyer. Such is the role of a teacher and his teaching in the life of a student.

Another important thing about the teaching profession is that illuminates both sides of the teacher and the student. In this noble profession not only do the students learn, but the teacher also learns the lessons of the lives of innocent students as well. Therefore, it is beneficial for both sides.

Aristotle rightly says: “Those who educate children are more honest than those who produce, for these have only given life, those that the art of living well. “Thus, teaching is a profession that offers an art of living. It is not only a duty but a moral duty. It is not a profession but a noble service in the world to create a more beautiful and peaceful world ..
