CBSE Class X Board 2020

10% of Critical Thinking questions will be considered in the 2020 CBSE Class X Board 2020 slight change i the pattern

The 10% of questions on the CBSE class X exams will focus on critical thinking: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the class X Board 2020 exam would include 8 to 10% of the questions based on critical thinking, analysis and competition.

These questions can be based on cases or passages of understanding, focusing on high-level skills. The board made this change to assess students’ ability to analyze, reason and communicate their ideas effectively.

Here are some things you should be aware of when trying out the role of Tip 10:

  1. Start by reading the questionnaire well

The first thing to do is to read your newspaper well, to understand it well. When writing the answers, you must first understand what you are asked for and the number of marks it contains. The answer must be written accordingly, logically and completely.

  1. Use the first 15 minutes effectively

At first, you have 15 minutes to read the question paper; Take this time to do exactly that, read. Read the 30 questions in 15 minutes. While reading, check the questions in categories that are wise, easy, manageable and difficult. This is done to get a general idea about the questions and make a rough plan.

  1. Do not worry about the most difficult ones

At the moment you discover that there are difficult questions; It is natural that you start worrying about them. This is not mandatory and it will only hurt your performance.

The fact is that they may seem a bit difficult on the surface, but when you really work on them, you will find that most of them are a lot easier than they seemed. So be happy with the easiest ones and do not worry too much about the tough ones.

  1. Ensure speed and accuracy

Use faster methods in calculations to make sure you do not waste your time and that your answers are correct. For example, if you make a mistake in the sign of a term (+/-), you may not be able to solve questions with quadratic equations or linear equations. Therefore, it is very important to avoid stupid mistakes to save time. Always follow the tips we discuss in speed strategies.

  1. Avoid thinking too much about a question

Thinking of the questions before trying them is essential; but not to the point that you are wasting a lot of time on a question.

In addition, you do not need to write a very long answer to a question simply because the question is easy and you know it very well. Remember, you just have to answer the question and nothing else. Any excessive attempt will be a waste of time.

  1. Check your answers

Usually, the question papers are set up so that even after trying all the questions, the students have 5 to 10 minutes at the end to review their answers. Do not waste your time and check all your answers.

  1. Choose your options wisely

In some questions, several options will be provided. Do not hurry and make your choice wisely. Read the questions carefully: Before you start writing the answer, read the question carefully. See what is asked in the question.

  1. Use plain language

When writing your answer, be sure to use language that is easy to understand. An examiner will be more impressed by a conceptual response written in simple language than by a non-conceptual language but written in flowery language.

  1. Avoid using slangs

The use of slang words or whatsapp language will be considered as a misspelling and will be penalized for the same.

The jury made it very clear that some changes were made during the preparation of the Sample Question Materials (SQPs) to prepare students for future challenges.

The Commission also asked all schools to consider changing the SQP and prepared students based on the final examples of questions. In order for students to clearly understand the new concepts, the pre-meeting question papers must be prepared in accordance with the new sample documents.

The Commission has also reduced the number of subjective / descriptive questions to give students enough time to think and write creatively.

what do understand by Teaching? is it really a profession.

But teaching is a profession that only attracts a particular type of person: a person who cares about others, a person who wants to touch the lives of his students and leave them better than they were. . The richest rewards of teaching occur when a teacher can observe the growth and development of his students.

One of the largest professions, teaching employs more than 2 1/2 million people a year. However, it is sometimes difficult to find work because of the large number of people currently prepared to enter the profession. In the field of social sciences, for example, opportunities are almost non-existent. On the other hand, the primary placement is still quite high.

We often use the term “profession” generically, in reference to your job / vocation. The profession derives from the word “profiteer” which means to profess. The connotation here is that a professional is a person who has a knowledge of something and who is attached to a particular set of values, which are generally accepted characteristics of the professions.

An important feature of teaching as a profession is its scientific nature. Since teaching is a science, teaching techniques are systematic and involve some steps to follow. It is easily communicable by its wide application.

A nation or society is moving towards development if teachers are better at bringing change in many ways. Teaching instils teachers with a sense of service because teaching is essentially a social service. Self-interest diminishes to give way to the general interest. He gives a high premium to social service, the heart of the profession.

The teaching profession has a common code of ethics that guides the behaviour of teachers in their institutions and abroad. A code of professional ethics is a letter of rights and duties for the protection of professional autonomy and freedom. An educator is different from a teacher in many ways. Ordinary teachers are instructors who focus on school activities, prepare students for exams, and help them succeed in their studies. Educators have something called “teacher + qualities”, which makes them different from ordinary teachers. They analyze problems critically and allow students to become critical thinkers. They go beyond the curriculum and focus on preparing students for life. Ordinary teachers make students dependent on them, while educators allow them to be independent and interdependent. If good teachers are considered noble people, critical educators should be considered more noble people.

This can guarantee the development of a high degree of recognition, respect and social status of the profession, so that a real professionalism is created. He / she is engaged in his profession in a real perspective.

In the past, teachers thought they were sources of knowledge, but now, thankfully, everyone knows they are not. Thanks to technological development and easy access to the Internet, teachers and students have access to information from different sources and can turn this information into knowledge and become co-creators. Teachers who have experienced a paradigm shift believe that students are also able to create knowledge. When there is a positive change in teachers’ attitudes towards students, they can communicate better with students. This connection helps teachers and students to experience that teaching is a noble profession.
