Culinary or front office? What cooking means to me

What’s cooking? When I finished my schooling at age 17, I could make a salad and boil an egg. As a student, I made Maggi and instant soup. I got married in my early years, I made the pasta, pasta and pasta. And then at some point a culinary explosion took place in my consciousness and developed a real interest not only to eat good food, but cook the food. Perhaps it was moving to Delhi, was surprised by the variety of foods available. At that moment, many famous chefs began publishing cookbooks, and the way they wrote was what I needed — the dominant type of address required in the kitchen. My skills were lacking many things to suit my palate.

Planning, buying and preparing food take huge amount of my time. It does not bother me. My son was now in grade 12^th and he grew up watching me cook lovely dishes and this inclined him as well towards food and cooking. It is a daily pleasure, not a daily cycle. He like the idea of the slow movement, the selection of fresh ingredients, take them home and prepare something delicious to feed our family.

He went from a boring necessity for something approaching an art, but more than that, because it covers a whole range of things that are important to me.

One of the things he like is that it is the creative cuisine – mixing flavors, colors, things that go well together on a plate.

Another thing my son love is the pleasure that gives food, both for others and for him. Thanks to his home science teacher who taught him to cook.

In order to become a lawyer in India, you got to possess a law degree, namely, LLB which is recognized by Indian Advocacy Council. There are two types of legal degrees offered. It all depends on you whether you want to pursue for five years, or three years of study.

LL.B courses are available in India

Five years integrated course,

The five-year course is available immediately after finishing high school in the under graduate setting. There are many universities in India, providing for 5 years. You can enter any of the University issuing the respective entrance tests. The most important and popular test between them is the common law admission test that will put you in the 14 national law schools in the country.

In order to qualify for the CLAT, the candidate must have obtained a Sr secondary certificate (10 + 2) or equivalent recognized by the board of at least 45% aggregate (40% in SC and candidates ST) and age limit is 20, as in (22 for SC and ST candidates)

CLAT test students in English, legal aptitude, logical reasoning, general awareness and quantitative aptitude.

In addition to the CLAT some other universities, they provide for 5 years integrated courses for example the National University of Law, Delhi, symbiosis of the Faculty of Law, Asian Law college, UPES-dehradoon who run their entrance exams separately.

In addition, some universities are taking LSAT score for the admissions. LSAT test is conducted by the Law School Admission Council.

In addition, there are the state level universities conducting entrance test, which will take you to the relevant universities.

Three Year Graduation Course

You can also opt for a three-year period after completing your degree. The applicant must have completed his / her degree in at least 50% of the grades. Universities offer three-year courses include The University of Delhi, the Hindu University of Varanasi, the State University of Law [Bombay], the ILS Law University, etc.

3-year course includes basic issues of law, according to jurisprudence, criminal law, business law, intellectual property laws, etc.

Materials over 5 years, will depend, of course B.A.LLB or BBA LLB. In addition to the basic issues of law, these courses also include subjects related to art [history, sociology, political science] and commerce [accounting, economics, etc.]

Practical training

Most colleges offer little practical legal training to students to understand how the law works in the real world. In general, legal education in India is very theoretical. Students can sometimes gain insight into a real working environment through internship programs with practicing lawyers, law firms, NGOs, BP and judges.
